Are you a 1–4 PQE solicitor looking to make a difference? Our Charities team, renowned across the UK, is seeking a passionate individual to join us in either our Newcastle or Leeds office. We pride ourselves on being down-to-earth, straightforward, and fostering a real team approach. Our clients range from local to international, including service providers, grant makers, religious orders, professional societies, universities, independent schools, academies, social enterprises, and more.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, taking increasing responsibility for client matters and ensuring their needs are met with clarity and confidence.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking someone who has a genuine passion for the Charities sector and who wants a fulfilling and rewarding career. While experience in this field is advantageous, it is not essential; what truly matters is your interest and enthusiasm, and ability to be a team player. To succeed in this role, you will need exceptional drafting and communication skills, a commercial outlook, and a dynamic, enthusiastic approach. You should be willing to work in a fast-paced environment alongside others who share your passion for the charities sector. In return, you will be supported to achieve your career aspirations and continue to develop as a lawyer.

Minimum Requirements

  • Be a qualified solicitor with 1–4 years’ PQE and a law degree (2:1 or higher) or equivalent legal qualification
  • Experience in managing client relationships
  • Knowledge of or interest in Charities law
