Responsibilities
- Act as the key finance contact for the assigned Business Group, partnering closely with group heads, partners and senior stakeholders.
- Support partners with pricing and fee negotiations, lead forecasting discussions, review client profitability and present commercial insights.
- Drive pricing strategy: scope matters, model pricing approaches and provide data-driven recommendations that balance client expectations and commercial objectives.
- Embed best practice across the firm using performance data and emerging technologies to enhance pricing capability.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activity for the Business Group, translating financial information into practical commercial insights.
- Challenge constructively, influence senior stakeholders and deliver clear actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial finance/business partnering within a law firm or professional services organisation.
- Significant pricing experience in a similar environment.
- Proven ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Expertise in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Power BI or Qlik is an advantage.
- Professional accounting qualification is beneficial but not essential.
