Overview
As a Senior Legal Project Manager at WBD Advance, you will steer complex legal programmes from scoping to operational delivery, partnering with lawyers, technologists and stakeholders. You’ll shape scalable delivery models, governance and reporting to improve client experience and efficiency. The role sits within a cross-functional team delivering high-stakes matters and client initiatives. Responsibilities
- Lead planning, governance and delivery of complex legal matters, programmes and strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with partners, lawyers and clients to define scope, objectives and success measures
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, budgets and resources to secure outcomes
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across legal, operational and technology workstreams
- Develop reporting and management information to provide clear progress visibility
- Support implementation, mobilisation and transition of new client services
- Design and embed scalable delivery models and efficient ways of working
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, quality and client experience
- Support business development and demonstrate value of Legal Project Management
- Coach and mentor junior members of the Legal Project Management team
Key requirements
- Significant project or programme management experience in legal services or similarly complex environments
- Experience delivering large, multi-stakeholder projects and programmes
- Experience implementing new services, processes or change initiatives
- Experience transitioning projects into operational or BAU delivery
- Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders, lawyers and clients
- Structured, pragmatic planning, governance, risk management and problem-solving
- Strong commercial awareness and focus on client outcomes
- Excellent communication, organisation and influencing skills
- Recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent experience
