You would be working with clients from a number of the firm's key sectors, including retail, financial services, energy and transport.

What does the ideal candidate look like? You'll be an experienced employment lawyer with an excellent academic background and a strong track record of delivering employment advice. In addition to relevant technical skills we're also looking for strong drafting ability, attention to detail and a sense of commercial pragmatism. An interest in innovation and using technology to work more efficiently would also be beneficial. You’ll need to be a team player whilst also being pro‑active in using your initiative and driving matters forward. The ability to build lasting relationships with our clients, excellent communication and inter‑personal skills are also key. You'll be part of a growing team so that means plenty of opportunities to develop your business development skills; an important aspect for all of our lawyers.

To be successful in this role you will need as a minimum:

  • At least 2 years of post-qualified experience as an England & Wales Solicitor.
