We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our rapidly growing Real Estate Group based in our Edinburgh office.
What will you be doing?
You’ll be working in a team who act for a range of work including landlord and tenant, property finance, development work and renewables. In this busy team you’ll be responsible for managing your own caseload as well as supporting the wider Real Estate team helping with transactions and registrations.
So what are we looking for?
Ideally you will have some commercial property experience and have a keen interest in this work. What type of practice you gained that experience in is not important, what is key is that you have excellent communication skills and the desire to offer outstanding client service. You’ll also be able to prioritise your work in order to meet key deadlines, have strong IT skills and have experience of using case management systems.
You may have already undertaken legal qualifications or may have gained previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Executive within the real estate sector; whatever your situation, if you’re looking to build your career in this specialism, we absolutely want to hear from you.
To be successful in this role you’ll need to have as a minimum:
- At least 6 months experience as a paralegal, Legal Assistant or similar within Real Estate
- Experience managing and prioritising your workload.
- Computer literacy, having had experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
