The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
What will you be doing? You will be a key part of the Leasehold Disputes Team, dealing with disputed cases as well as a diverse range of other litigation matters. The environment is fast-paced and excellent negotiation skills alongside a confident telephone manner are key.
A big part of this role will be to speak with leaseholders and persuade them to pay arrears in full. You will be joining a supportive team where you can learn from true leaders in their field.
The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and an interest in working within a busy litigation environment. Successful applicants will be highly organised, efficient and able to prioritise effectively to work to tight client deadlines.
As a client-facing role, you will also need to be able to build and maintain strong relationships. Knowledge of property law would be beneficial but is not essential.
The ability to solve problems and make decisions on files, provide a fast and efficient turnaround of work and maintain an enthusiastic and flexible approach is paramount, as is demonstrating initiative in order to take responsibility for tasks and reporting.
You must also be able to draft standard written communications, have experience using IT software such as Microsoft programmes and be ready to be trained on new systems.
To be successful in this role, you will need as a minimum:
- Completed your law degree or other legal qualification and/or have previously worked as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or similar.
- Experience managing and prioritising your workload.
- Computer literacy, having had experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
