We've got an exciting opportunity for a legal Co-ordinator/Paralegal to join us, working with our Knowledge Lawyer in our Private Wealth business group.
In terms of location, this role can be based in either Newcastle, Bristol, Leeds or Plymouth. We operate a hybrid working policy and most full-time employees typically spend around 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home - however we operate a very flexible approach in practice.
The role
You'll work closely with our Business Group Knowledge Lawyer to help foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing and excellence across the firm. Supporting the development and accessibility of legal knowledge, you will play a key role in co-ordinating a range of knowledge and learning initiatives that enable our lawyers to stay informed, connected and up to date.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating monthly legal knowledge and update sessions across the Business Group
- Supporting the delivery of trainee and early careers training programmes
- Maintaining accurate training records and learning documentation
- Managing and updating knowledge content on our intranet and other knowledge-sharing platforms
- Monitoring developments in legal technology, AI and other emerging tools, helping to promote opportunities that enhance knowledge sharing and efficiency
- Supporting teams in the planning, delivery and administration of knowledge development activities
What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role you'll need as a minimum:
- Experience of working as a Paralegal or in a Co-ordinator/Personal Assistant role within a professional services environment
- Proven ability to coordinate projects, programmes or initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Strong administrative skills with a track record of accurately recording actions, maintaining documentation and managing process workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams and seniority levels
- Experience of document management systems/SharePoint would be an advantage
- Experience/strong interest in AI preferred
