Responsibilities

  • Embodying the core values of Wombat’s and a passion for hosting
  • Acting as the leading figure for the hostel teams – Reception, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security – through presence and providing purpose and feedback; indirect leadership of teams through department heads, direct leadership of department heads
  • Promoting personal and professional development of their teams
  • Providing support to and promoting good cooperation with the F&B department
  • Managing administration and human resources for their teams and the F&B teams
  • Monitoring and managing finances and costs (except for F&B and events)
  • Ensuring the building and all relevant appliances are well maintained at all times
  • Monitoring quality standards and overseeing reputation management
  • Ensuring compliance with health- and safety regulations
  • Driving continuous development in cooperation with Head Office
