Role Description
The Assistant Technician role is a full-time, on-site position located in Manchester. As an Assistant Technician, you will support the maintenance, operation, and utilization of high-pressure water jetting systems. Your daily tasks will include conducting equipment inspections, performing routine maintenance and repairs, setting up and assisting in operating high-pressure systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will also collaborate with the team to troubleshoot technical issues, maintain tools and equipment, and assist with on-site client support and training.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical and technical skills for maintaining and troubleshooting high-pressure systems.
- Experience in operating industrial equipment or tools related to water jetting, cleaning, or surface preparation.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and workplace health standards, particularly in industrial environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Certified training or prior experience in high-pressure systems or related machinery is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
