About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Field Sales Representative to join our clients growing team, covering the North of England. This is a customer-facing, on-the-road role focused on developing new business and managing existing accounts within industries requiring conveyor belt solutions.
The ideal candidate will come from a belt vulcanising or conveyor maintenance background, bringing both technical expertise and commercial awareness to identify opportunities and deliver tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of customers across the North of England
- Identify and win new business opportunities within quarrying, recycling, manufacturing, aggregates, and related sectors
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of service and repeat business
- Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and provide technical recommendations
- Prepare and present quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales
- Work closely with internal operations and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and product developments
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a field sales role or strong commercial mindset
- Essential or highly desirable: background in belt vulcanising, conveyor systems, or related mechanical/industrial services
- Strong technical understanding of conveyor belts, splicing, and maintenance
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on the road
- Full UK driving licence
