We are recruiting for a Site Protection Manager (SPM) to join our client’s industrial response team, working 12 hour shifts, on a short-term, temporary contract based in Hartlepool.    This role is central to maintaining emergency response capabilities across a high-hazard industrial site. The SPM will oversee incident preparedness, deliver rapid emergency intervention and contribute to the ongoing safety and security of site operations. You’ll work within a team that responds to industrial fires, rescue operations, medical emergencies, and site security events. Ideal for candidates with a strong emergency services or military background.    Key Responsibilities Lead or support emergency response to fire, medical, and rescue incidents Develop and implement pre-incident plans for site-based scenarios Carry out confined space and height rescues where necessary Maintain operational readiness of PPE and firefighting/rescue equipment Manage secure site access, CCTV, alarm response and switchboard operations Support safety inspections, drills, and training activities Maintain personal and team compliance with National Occupational Standards    Required Certifications SIA Licence Confined Space Certification Rescue from Height Fire & Breathing Apparatus (BA) FREC Level 3 (First Response Emergency Care)    Candidate Requirements Previous experience in emergency response within industrial, fire & rescue, or defence environments Ability to lead or assist in rescue and fire operations in hazardous conditions Strong understanding of site safety protocols and equipment maintenance Effective under pressure with excellent situational awareness Physically fit, disciplined and ready to be deployed with minimal onboarding   If this role is of interest apply today
