Plater Teesside Wolviston Management Services are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading name in heavy industrial manufacturing, for a time-served Plater to join their established fabrication team in Teesside. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and long-standing business. What You\’ll Be Doing Fabricating and assembling heavy steel structures from detailed engineering drawings. Measuring, marking, cutting, and shaping steel components to precise tolerances. Using a range of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery to complete plating operations. Ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards. Supporting welding and fitting operations within the workshop as required. Working efficiently within a team to meet production schedules and customer delivery targets. What We\’re Looking For Time-served Plater/Fabricator with proven experience in a heavy industrial or structural steel environment. Strong ability to interpret and work from complex fabrication drawings. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good understanding of fabrication safety procedures and safe workshop practices. Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to support across departments when required.
