The Role
As a Product Sales Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting customers by providing expert technical advice, identifying suitable products, and ensuring an excellent customer experience from enquiry through to fulfilment. This is a customer-facing position that blends technical knowledge with sales and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical product advice and support to customers via phone, email, and in person
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Process orders accurately and efficiently using internal systems
- Work closely with internal teams including sales, warehouse, and procurement
- Support product selection, troubleshooting, and after-sales enquiries
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Essential Requirements
- Technical knowledge and experience within an engineering, agricultural, plumbing, or mechanical environment
- Previous customer service experience in a technical setting
- Clear and legible written and verbal communication skills
- Strong communication and explanation abilities
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
