The Opportunity

Resolution Communications is looking for an organised, inquisitive and creative

Marketing and Communications Executive to join its growing team in Stockton-on-Tees.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, has a flair for writing and wants to see ideas develop into successful campaigns.

Supporting the account management team, you will work across a diverse portfolio of clients, helping to deliver integrated marketing and communications campaigns that build brands, engage audiences and deliver measurable results.

Working alongside experienced marketing, PR and creative professionals, you will gain exposure to every stage of the communications process, from research and campaign planning through to content creation, delivery and performance reporting.

The successful candidate will enjoy variety, take pride in producing high-quality work and be confident contributing ideas within a collaborative agency environment.

  • What You Will Be Doing
  • Supporting the delivery of integrated marketing, PR, digital and social media campaigns across a varied portfolio of client accounts.
  • Assisting with the planning and implementation of marketing strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Writing press releases, blogs, website copy, social media posts and other marketing materials.
  • Researching industries, competitors, target audiences and media opportunities to support campaign planning.
  • Supporting social media planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting across platforms including Linked In, Instagram and Facebook.
  • Monitoring campaign performance and preparing reports using analytics, insights and measurable results.
  • Supporting client meetings, action plans, events, launches, content sessions and wider project delivery.
  • Liaising professionally with clients, media contacts, suppliers, designers, photographers, videographers and other creative partners.

Skills and Experience

  • A qualification or relevant experience in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism or a related discipline.
  • Excellent writing skills, with a strong understanding of grammar, spelling and attention to detail.
  • A genuine interest in marketing, public relations and strategic communications.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
  • Good research skills and the ability to turn complex information into clear and engaging content.
  • An understanding of social media platforms and an interest in using performance data to improve future activity.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, with experience of Canva or similar creative software being beneficial.
  • A proactive, collaborative and curious approach, with the confidence to ask questions, contribute ideas and build professional relationships.

A full UK driving licence would be advantageous due to occasional travel to client locations.
