We are hiring an EC&I Technician to join a renowned global company at an upper-tier COMAH Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant in Cumbria. This full-time permanent role ensures safe and effective delivery of maintenance, repairs, and projects, offering opportunities for development and occasional travel.    Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for EC&I maintenance, troubleshooting, and defect resolution, including on-call support (1 week in 3) Manage rotating and stationary equipment maintenance, updating the electronic shift log and CMMS (Maximo) Supervise contractors, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with safety and quality standards Develop and refine project documents, procedures, and work plans to meet safety and regulatory requirements    About You: Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in electrical, instrument, or control disciplines Strong knowledge of process instrumentation, including 4-20mA loops, HART, Modbus, and Profibus Proficiency in reading P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and troubleshooting EC&I systems Familiarity with The Electricity at Work Regulations, plant SHE systems, and risk assessments    Why Join Us?
