Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Craft Team Leader to play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient delivery of electrical maintenance services across a busy manufacturing and workshop environment.
About the Role
As Craft Team Leader, you’ll take responsibility for leading and coordinating internal teams and external contractors to meet daily operational targets. From planning and executing maintenance tasks to upholding compliance with health and safety procedures, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining asset reliability and plant performance. You’ll work closely with engineering leadership to resolve breakdowns and quality concerns, drive improvements, and ensure all work is accurately recorded via established systems and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate electrical maintenance activities across your area
- Deliver safe and efficient supervision of employees and contractors
- Support manufacturing uptime through proactive maintenance planning
- Troubleshoot and resolve engineering and safety issues as they arise
- Maintain clear and accurate records of team activity and task completion
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and team development
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline (or a recognised apprenticeship)
- Previous experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within a heavy industry environment
- A flexible, problem-solving approach and a keen eye for safety and quality
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- The drive to learn, develop and support your team to succeed
- Evidence of qualifications will be required.
