Wolviston Management Services are delighted to be supporting our client in the search for an organised and detail-driven Document Controller to join their team, playing a key role in the delivery of high-profile projects across the UK.
This role is all about accuracy, coordination, and communication, ensuring drawings, specifications, contracts and technical documents flow seamlessly between internal teams, clients, and contractors. You\'ll be the go-to person for making sure everyone has the latest approved information.
The Role
As Document Controller, you\'ll:
Support Contracts Managers with the coordination of project documentation.
Manage and maintain drawing records (digital and hard copy).
Update and maintain trackers, vaults, and filing systems.
Distribute drawings and technical information to site and project teams.
Manage RFI submissions and records via client portals.
Co-ordinate drawing approvals through the approval-comment-construction process.
Ensure all construction documentation is accurately maintained and accessible. About You
To be successful in this role, you\'ll bring:
Experience in document control or project administration (ideally within construction or engineering).
Strong organisational skills and a sharp eye for accuracy.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of document management systems would be an advantage.
Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
A proactive, solution-focused approach and the ability to handle multiple priorities. What\'s on offer
