Job Title: Construction Engineer – EC&I Location: Site Based – Middlesbrough Contract: Contract – 12 – 18 months We are supporting our client in the recruitment of a Construction Engineer (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) to contribute to the planning, execution, and technical oversight of a major onshore energy project. Key Responsibilities: Support project site manager with EC&I construction activities Develop and review method statements and risk assessments Oversee safe and quality-compliant installations Interface with vendors and subcontractors Conduct site surveys and progress checks Provide technical input into schedules and cost estimates Experience Required: ONC/C&G in engineering (minimum), 18th Edition certification Strong background in site-based EC&I work Experience with switchgear, control systems, ATEX areas, and commissioning CSCS Black Managers Card (preferred) Familiarity with QA documentation and project handovers
