Wolviston Group is recruiting for a Chemical Operative on behalf of our client based in Teesside. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with chemical manufacturing or industrial production experience to join a well-established operational team within a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Chemical blending and filling activities
- Filling drums and IBC containers
- Loading and offloading road tankers and HGVs
- Product packing, labelling, and dispatch
- Handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials
- Following manufacturing recipes and procedures
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping
- Supporting production targets and operational KPIs
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience within the chemical industry
- Knowledge of safe working practices and COSHH
- Ability to follow operating procedures accurately
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible approach to overtime and operational requirements
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Chemical Operations
- Counterbalance FLT Licence
- Banksman qualification
- First Aid certification
- Fire Warden training
