We are recruiting for a CAD Technician (mechanical bias) to join our client, a leading engineering company in the rotating machinery sector.
Role Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD/Solid Edge
- Support reverse engineering projects through 3D scanning and manual measurement
- Modify existing designs and check drawings for accuracy
- Apply mechanical engineering principles to assess manufacturability
Requirements:
- HND/HNC/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong experience in AutoCAD and 3D modelling
- Knowledge of rotating equipment components
- UK Driving Licence
