CAD Technician Land Development (Civils Focused)
Wolviston Management Services are supporting our client in the recruitment of a CAD Technician to join their land development team, working on a range of port infrastructure and civil engineering projects.

In this civils-focused role, you will be involved in producing detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for infrastructure including quays, berths, access roads, storage zones, and utility layouts, contributing to projects vital to the offshore wind and wider renewables sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality 2D and 3D CAD drawings for land development and infrastructure projects using a range of design software.
- Develop detailed layouts for vessel berthing, offshore wind staging zones, and associated onshore civil infrastructure.
- Work closely with engineers and project stakeholders to develop and refine designs.
- Incorporate survey data and geotechnical reports to ensure accuracy and precision in all design work.
- Update existing drawings to reflect upgrades or changes to site infrastructure.
- Support design reviews by presenting work and applying feedback constructively.
- Identify and resolve design constraints, considering site limitations and environmental impact.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards, regulations, and client specifications.
- Organise and manage digital design files to ensure clarity and easy future reference.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all drawings, revisions, and technical documentation.
