We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established precision engineering business based in Teesside, specialising in CNC machining of bespoke components for a wide range of industrial sectors. Operating medium to large batch production, our client is known for quality, reliability, and fast turnaround.
The role
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components
- Work from engineering drawings and part set-up sheets
- Maintain tight tolerances and customer deadlines
- Carry out self-inspection using measuring equipment
- Monitor machine performance and carry out basic checks and adjustments
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator
- Experience with CNC turning and/or milling
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
