An established BMS business with a strong UK presence is looking to appoint a Project Engineer to support a growing portfolio of projects across Central London. This role offers the chance to work across a varied project environment, supporting the delivery of BMS installations within commercial buildings, large-scale developments, and technically demanding sites.

The position would suit an experienced BMS Engineer looking to broaden their project involvement, or someone already operating in a Project Engineer capacity who enjoys a mix of technical delivery, coordination, and customer interaction. There is also potential for someone from a strong controls, HVAC, or wider building services background to step into the role, provided they have the right technical foundation and approach.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting the delivery of BMS projects from initial handover through to completion
  • Coordinating engineering activities, subcontractors, and project programmes
  • BMS design, engineering, commissioning, and technical support
  • Working closely with customers and internal project teams
  • Managing project documentation, reporting, and H&S requirements
  • Assisting with site surveys, system modifications, and technical problem solving

What they’re looking for:

  • Previous experience within the BMS / building controls sector
  • Good understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical plant
  • Knowledge of systems such as Trend, Schneider EcoStruxure, Tridium or similar platforms
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team
  • Full UK driving licence

Experience within data centre or critical infrastructure environments would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.

Why consider it? The business has built a strong reputation over many years and continues to grow steadily across the UK. The London team works on a broad range of technically interesting projects and offers a supportive environment with genuine long-term career prospects. Alongside hybrid working, the package includes bonus, vehicle/car allowance, private healthcare, pension, and employee ownership benefits.
