About the Role

Wolviston Management Services are supporting a well-established manufacturing business in the recruitment of a Production Lead to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced, varied production environment, where multiple products are manufactured across different bays. You'll play a key role in leading day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily manufacturing and packaging operations
  • Supervise a team of 8-12 operatives across multiple production bays
  • Drive performance to meet production targets and customer expectations
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards (GMP)
  • Monitor and maintain product quality in line with specifications
  • Support, coach and develop team members
  • Ensure staff are trained and fully competent in their roles
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and site cleanliness
  • Support with product handling and mixing (5kg-25kg)

  • Experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • IT literacy (Outlook, Excel, and internal systems)
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Understanding of SOPs and compliance standards
