The role β leading electrical engineering delivery across complex projects
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will take a lead role in the delivery of electrical design projects, supervising engineers and ensuring the successful technical execution of electrical engineering solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality and cost-effective outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor electrical engineers and designers, ensuring high standards of technical delivery
- Oversee the development and selection of electrical systems, including control and distribution schemes
- Ensure project deliverables are completed to schedule and within budget
- Prepare, review and maintain electrical engineering design documentation
- Evaluate vendor documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications
- Manage electrical engineering activities within Project Management Consultancy (PMC) projects
- Support bid development through the preparation of man-hour estimates and material take-offs
- Carry out engineering analysis, design specification work and procedural development to support successful project delivery
What weβre looking for
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
- Extensive experience within the oil and gas or petrochemical sectors
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as PTW, Trimble, DIALux and StrikeRisk
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards and best practice
- Experience working with overseas clients and external design houses
- Proven experience in a Senior or Lead Electrical Engineer position, with demonstrable technical leadership and problem-solving ability
