Wolviston Management Services are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced BMS Project Manager to join their successful projects team. Our client is a leading Building Management Systems specialist, delivering smart building solutions across some of the UK’s most prestigious commercial, residential and data centre projects. Due to continued growth within their London operations, they are seeking an experienced BMS Project Manager to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects across Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to work with established clients, experienced engineering teams and a strong pipeline of future projects.
The successful candidate will lead projects from initial handover through to commissioning and completion, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
The Role
As a BMS Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple Building Management System projects across London. Working closely with clients, engineers, subcontractors and internal teams, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery while maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing BMS projects from initial handover through to commissioning and final completion
- Producing and maintaining project programmes, budgets and resource plans
- Leading project engineers, site teams and subcontractors
- Managing client relationships and acting as the main point of contact throughout project delivery
- Monitoring project performance, costs, risks and programme milestones
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements and company procedures
- Identifying and managing variations and commercial opportunities
- Supporting and developing engineers within the team
- Producing and maintaining project documentation and reports
What We’re Looking For
This role would suit an established BMS Project Manager with experience delivering Building Management System projects within a commercial environment. You will have:
- Proven experience delivering BMS projects in a Project Manager role
- Strong technical knowledge of BMS systems such as Trend, Tridium, Siemens or similar platforms
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Experience leading project teams and managing multiple stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience
- A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
- A full UK driving licence
