Wolverine Worldwide is a global marketer of branded footwear, apparel, and accessories. We are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, service-oriented, and likes to have fun while they work. The candidate will support the team to work in alignment with our values and act as the go-to person in the absence of the Store Manager. They will serve as a role model for the team, remaining cool, calm, and collected under pressure, and committing to product knowledge. The role includes administrative and operational duties and general store security.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the store management team in all aspects of running the store including opening and closing the store, cash handling, stock control, merchandising and maintaining a clean and well‑presented store.
- Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating a positive attitude and commitment to product knowledge.
- Create amazing experiences for customers through authentic customer service that leaves a lasting impression.
- Achieve sales goals and performance metrics and drive the store’s success by being an ambassador and supporting local marketing efforts.
- Perform other duties as required/assigned by manager.
- Maintain compliance with company policies including health and safety regulations and inventory management.
- Take ownership of stock management and execute visual merchandising guidelines, contributing to and delivering on store KPIs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Demonstrated retail sales success.
- Experience working in a customer‑facing role; supervisory experience is preferred but not essential.
- Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexible schedule and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
