We are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, service-oriented, and enjoys having fun while they work. This person will support the team in alignment with our values and act as the go-to person in the absence of the Store Manager. You will be a role model for the team, remaining cool, calm, and collected under pressure. You will prioritise being a fountain of knowledge on product and standards, assisting with administrative and operational duties and general store security.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the store management team in all aspects of running the store including opening and closing, cash-handling, stock control, merchandising, and maintaining a clean and well-presented store.
- Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating a positive attitude and commitment to product knowledge.
- Create amazing experiences for customers through authentic customer service.
- Achieve sales goals and performance metrics, driving the store's success by supporting local marketing efforts.
- Perform other duties as required/assigned by the manager.
- Maintain compliance with company policies including health and safety regulations and inventory management.
- Take ownership over stock management and execute visual merchandising guidelines, contributing towards store KPIs.
- Organise and host running and lifestyle events that engage the local community.
- Build and nurture a strong community around the brand by creating meaningful connections with customers and local groups.
- Collaborate with external partners to bring energising and innovative events to the store.
- Leverage social media and other channels to promote events and share community stories.
- Gather feedback from community events to continuously improve engagement strategies.
- Demonstrated retail sales success.
- Experience working in a customer-facing role; supervisory experience is preferred but not essential.
- Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
