POSITION SUMMARY
As an integral part of our marketing team, your role is to strategically position the brand at the heart of the running culture and enhance brand presence within the region by means of community marketing initiatives and partnerships. You are deeply immersed in and closely connected with the running community, which will enable you to cultivate a prominent physical and digital Saucony community. Serving as genuine brand ambassadors, you will represent Saucony, fostering engagement with end-consumers and effectively conveying our seasonal marketing narratives at events, within retail settings as well in the digital environment of the brand. Maintaining strong relationships with both, the community and our numerous retail partners is paramount for our Community Marketing Rep. This role will be split between London (60%) and the rest of the UK, with a strong focus on communities and retailers across the country (40%).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Collaborating with running clubs, non-profit organisations and brand ambassadors to assemble a team dedicated to engaging the community and promoting brand perception.
- Act as the brand´s vigilant observers and communicators, conveying our brand positioning, monitoring competitors and reporting on potential competitive activities.
- Craft genuine social media content to enhance the brand´s community-oriented approach through digital platforms.
- Boosting the community database through the implementation of tailored customer acquisition strategies.
- Promoting brand visibility within the core of the running culture in the EMEA region through the organization, implementation, and engagement in major running events.
- Offering assistance and education to local retail staff in order to uphold and adhere to in-store brand marketing standards, as well as consistently offering product education and guidance on DTC platforms.
- Creating and implementing community events to drive consumer love at run specialty and sporting good stores.
- Coordinating community marketing initiatives with regional wholesale partners.

- Working knowledge of products both Saucony styles and of our competitors.
- Highly competent when dealing with IT, including Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Travel expenses paid.
- Field based – 50%+ of time on the road.
- Must be willing to spend time away from home each week.
- Must be prepared to work occasional weekends if needed.
