The purpose of the role is to oversee cash application and reconciliation across EMEA accounts, supporting the credit team in maintaining accurate customer account balances. It involves full KPI reporting and providing regular feedback to the Credit Finance Analyst and key stakeholders, ensuring all relevant departments are kept informed on the status of unallocated cash, direct debits, and collections progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Post and allocate bacs payments via High Radius system in mutual currencies.
  • Direct debit management on all countries including processing the collections, reconciliations and bounce processing.
  • Unallocated cash management – un-investigated cash is worked with team and customers to ensure cash posted promptly.
  • Management of incoming cash G/L reconciliation and clearing for period ends.
  • Maintaining High Radius Cash Application including maintenance and improvement of how the system works.
  • To continually review the credit control mailbox and progress any required actions with the respective teams, Remittance inbox, info EMEA.
  • Supporting in cash forecasting.
  • Support in external audit requests.
  • Reporting to the business on information from the credit department.
  • To process authorized debit notes and/or issue authorized credits in line with company procedures.
  • To ensure compliance with the company credit policy, business processes and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Take ownership and respond professionally, quickly and efficiently to routine queries and requests from staff and external clients.
  • To provide cover for other department members as the need arises.
  • To perform other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Normal office environment. Some travel might be required.
