What You’ll Be Doing

  • Range framework/Buying Direction – Ownership of setting up the seasonal line with PLM & BC in line with the range framework.
  • Assortment Build (All Channels) Support with accurate system documentation of assortment builds and the curation of samples to support.
  • Pricing Architecture – Carry out & document regular competitor analysis to demonstrate current marketing positioning.
  • Sample Management end to end – Own physical sample management for the product team, including requesting samples, tracking arrival, and handing out to relevant teams as they arrive.
  • Product Critical Path – Assist the buyer in maintaining and updating the critical path timelines, ensuring all key milestones are tracked and deadlines are met.

Help organise and maintain all documentation related to the product development.

  • Product Education - Prepare physical samples for product presentations.
  • Fit – Support pulling reference samples for fit sessions.
  • Supplier Relations - Maintain strong supplier relationships on areas of ownership through clear communication and partnership
  • Market Place Range Presentations - Support in pulling relevant samples for market place presentations
  • In season trading/Chase - Support in system set up & sampling
  • Pricing Audits - Ownership of updating price points across all systems
  • Sample invoicing (SRS, Press) - Provide specific sample ordering information to support with invoicing queries from invoice team on ad hoc basis
  • Sourcing strategy - Awareness of changes in sourcing and impact to system updates & sampling
  • Lab dip and strike off approval - Own the cataloguing and storage of physical lap dips & strike off's.
  • Bulk colour and trim approval - Own the cataloguing and storage of physical bulk colour and trim cards.
  • System management - Ensure accurate system maintenance (e. g. PLM, BC) with all required information for the buying team - icons, commodity codes, style guide etc
  • Support the buying function with day to day needs
  • Support & collaborate within the Product teams to ensure timely & successful seasonal launches
  • Additional responsibilities deemed necessary by Sweaty Betty business needs.
