Primary Duties:

  • Update demand planning tools to support the integrated business planning process.
  • Review product range, classifications, launch dates, product profiles to ensure seasonal line accuracy.
  • Review demand forecasts and collaborate with Sales Planning & Demand Planning to strengthen forecast accuracy.
  • Consistently monitor changes in demand signal, anticipate results of these changes, and initiate appropriate adjustments when results negatively affect plans and commitments.
  • Review historical sales data, market trends, order book analysis, and seasonality to contribute to accurately forecasted future product demand.
  • Prepare reports and data for monthly alignment meetings with sales, marketing, PLM, and finance teams to ensure reconciliation of demand plan to business needs and financial plans.
  • Perform duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  • Perform other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • 4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 0–2+ years’ experience in conducting demand planning, trend forecasting, statistical modeling, data analysis or business planning.
  • Strong MS Excel skills: demonstrated ability to quickly manipulate large raw data sets to produce reporting that is intuitive and easy to read/understand; advanced formulas.
  • Knowledge of BI tools and Data Mining would be beneficial.
  • Basic understanding and appreciation of supply chain functions, dependencies, and systems.
  • Analytical with critical thinking mindset.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to quickly adapt in a highly collaborative environment and team player.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Wolverine Worldwide has a flexible, hybrid work schedule, with three days in office and two days remote.
