Position to oversee cash application and reconciliation across EMEA accounts, supporting the credit team in maintaining accurate customer account balances, and delivering KPI reporting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee cash application and reconciliation across EMEA accounts.
  • Support the credit team in maintaining accurate customer account balances.
  • Provide full KPI reporting and regular feedback to the Credit Finance Analyst and key stakeholders, keeping relevant departments informed on the status of unallocated cash, direct debits, and collections progress.
  • Post and allocate BACs payments via the High Radius system in mutual currencies.
  • Manage direct debits in all countries, including processing collections, reconciliations, and bounce processing.
  • Manage unallocated cash – work with the team and customers to ensure uninvestigated cash is posted promptly.
  • Manage incoming cash, general ledger reconciliation, and clearing for period ends.
  • Maintain the High Radius Cash Application, including system maintenance and improvement.
  • Review the credit control mailbox and progress required actions with respective teams, manage the remittance inbox and info EMEA.
  • Support cash forecasting.
  • Support external audit requests and report to the business on information from the credit department.
  • Process authorized debit notes and/or issue authorized credits in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with the company credit policy, business processes, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Take ownership and respond professionally, quickly, and efficiently to routine queries and requests from staff and external clients.
  • Provide cover for other department members as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned by the manager.
  • Work in a normal office environment; some travel may be required.

Skills & Experience

  • Works well under pressure, follows through on commitments, and meets deadlines.
  • SAP and Excel experience.
  • Well organized and able to manage priorities with a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good team player.
