Overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Communications & Engagement team as a Resident Engagement Officer, supporting engagement with customers and communities across Wolverhampton Homes. This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role where you will work directly with residents to ensure their voices are heard and help shape and improve our services. You’ll also help support opportunities for residents to be involved in shaping services and community activity across the city.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support engagement activity linked to Tenant Satisfaction Measures and Consumer Standards, helping ensure customer feedback informs service improvement.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, tenant groups, communities, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organise, attend and support engagement events, including evenings and weekends where required.
  • Listen to customer feedback, capture insight accurately and support follow‑up actions to ensure learning and improvement.
  • Support consultations, surveys and engagement initiatives to gather resident insight.
  • Work with teams across the organisation to share customer feedback and themes.
  • Maintain accurate records and support reporting on engagement activity.
  • Promote and deliver on opportunities for residents to get involved and have their voice heard.
