We have an exciting opportunity to join our Commercial Team/Strategic Construction Partnership projects team in the role of Quantity Surveyor. Support the Commercial team by carrying out financial management and performance reporting of our Strategic Construction Partners and in-house maintenance teams.
Support the management of the Strategic Construction Partnerships through open-book cost management, providing cost plans, target costs, bills of quantities, schedules of work and task orders. Maximise value for money in the services provided by our in-house teams by providing accurate job costing, forecasting, and maximising income. Provide robust commercial management of operational overheads.
Support the procurement of contractors and suppliers ensuring financial appraisals are undertaken and schedules of rates are appropriate to ensure value for money.
Do you have a degree in Quantity Surveying or other construction related discipline? Have you managed or reviewed operations of in-house maintenance organisations? Can you undertake robust financial and performance appraisals of in-house maintenance organisations? Do you have experience of procuring works and, or material supply contracts?
