Key Responsibilities

  • Attend customers’ homes to diagnose damp, mould and condensation issues, completing accurate assessments and identifying root causes.
  • Deliver sensitive, sometimes challenging conversations with customers where issues may be caused by behaviours, poor ventilation or household practices.
  • Undertake light cleaning or treatment of small areas of mould using appropriate cleaning products, ensuring you follow health and safety procedures.
  • Provide clear, accessible customer education on how to maintain a healthy home, including humidity management, heating use and ventilation.
  • Identify hazards and triage risks during home visits, escalating safety concerns promptly.

About you

  • Can you deliver excellent, empathetic customer service, even when conversations are sensitive or challenging?
  • Do you bring resilience, strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in emotionally charged situations?
  • Are you comfortable using cleaning products and carrying out small areas of mould treatment when required?
  • Do you have a genuine willingness to learn and develop, including completing the HNC Building Studies qualification as part of your progression?
