We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Compliance Officer to join us at Wolverhampton Homes. This role is all about helping us operate responsibly and sustainably – identifying environmental risks, improving practices, and embedding environmental thinking across the organisation. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the identification, assessment and management of environmental risks across the organisation
  • Analyse environmental, waste and carbon data to drive insight and continuous improvement
  • Support and embed environmental compliance processes and best practice across teams
  • Contribute to key initiatives, including carbon reduction and waste management programmes
  • Influence and support colleagues across the organisation to ensure consistent and effective environmental compliance

About you

  • Do you have a genuine interest in environmental sustainability, compliance or risk?
  • Are you confident working with data and using it to identify trends and opportunities for improvement?
  • Can you interpret legislation, information and data and apply it in a practical, real‑world way?
  • Do you build strong relationships and feel confident influencing others to adopt better ways of working?
  • Do you have (or are you working towards) a qualification or experience in environmental, sustainability or compliance – or are you looking to build your career in this area?
