Project Overview
Wolverhampton City of Youth Culture is a 3‑year project delivering festivals, events, careers development and arts trails through a partnership of cultural organisations. Co‑created with young people, it aims to improve self‑esteem, resilience and social skills while building a lasting platform for cultural activity.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate up to 4 workshops for young people between July and September 2025.
- Co‑create a multi‑disciplinary art piece that can be reproduced in 2‑D print form and featured on an existing arts trail.
- Collaborate with a digital developer to integrate the artwork into a digital platform, creating an interactive and immersive experience.
- Ensure the final work aligns with three existing pieces on the trail.
- Work closely with the team to meet the needs of diverse participants and promote inclusive creative practice.
Qualifications
- Multi‑disciplinary artist based locally in Wolverhampton.
- Experience working directly with young people from diverse backgrounds.
- Track record of facilitating co‑creation workshops and contributing to arts trails.
- Proficiency across various art mediums (e.g., photography, animation, ceramics, music, visual arts, poetry, creative writing).

Fee and Materials
