Event Dates: May 17th and 18th 2025. Please note that there will be an opening night and private view on Friday 16th May from 6pm until 9pm

Art Expo Wolverhampton is excited to announce an Open Call for Artists to participate in our Art Expo. This is an opportunity for artists to showcase their creativity and engage with the public. The event aims to celebrate the diversity and talent of our local and regional creative community.
Who Can Apply?
- Artists are invited to apply for one or more of the following components of the event:
- Art Expo event: Artists will have a dedicated stand at the Newhampton Arts Centre to display and sell their work. Cost of a stand is £50.
- Prize Exhibition: For those who prefer to submit just one piece of work for consideration, we are offering the opportunity to compete for an award in a Prize Exhibition as part of the Expo at Newhampton Arts Centre. £10 hanging fee.
We welcome artists working in all mediums, including but not limited to:
- Painting
- Sculpture
- Photography
- Printmaking
- Mixed Media
- Textiles
- Installation Art
- Digital Art
- Crafts
Prize Exhibition Details
The Prize Exhibition is specifically for artists wishing to submit a single piece of work for consideration. This exhibition will highlight exceptional works in a variety of mediums and styles, with the chance to win exciting prizes.
Artists submitting to the Prize Exhibition will not be required to set up a stand or open their studio, but they will be eligible for the juried awards.
How to Apply
- Artist Statement: A short description of your artistic practice (max 300 words).
- Images of Work: High-quality images of up to three pieces
For Prize Exhibition, submit only one image of the piece you wish to enter.
Notification Of Selection For Expo And Prize Exhibition: Monday 3rd March
Applications for the Expo or Prize exhibition should be submitted via email to printfestwolverhampton@yahoo.com
Selection Process
- Art Expo: A panel of curators will review all submissions. Due to limited space, not all applicants may be selected and we urge you to submit applications as soon as possible.
- Prize Exhibition: The Prize Exhibition will be juried by a panel of experts, who will select works based on artistic merit, originality, and execution. Prizes will be awarded to the best works in each category.
