The Sales Associate Director, Government sector is responsible for driving sales of healthcare-focused SaaS solutions to public sector organizations, including national health services, local authorities, and government-funded healthcare institutions. This role requires a deep understanding of public procurement processes, healthcare regulations, and the unique challenges faced by government entities in delivering digital health services.
Responsibilities
- Public Sector Sales Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies targeting government healthcare agencies and institutions.
- Procurement Navigation: Manage complex public procurement cycles, including responding to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships with government officials, policy makers, and healthcare administrators.
- Solution Selling: Position SaaS offerings as solutions to public health challenges such as patient data management, care coordination, compliance, and digital transformation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, compliance, product, sales account managers and implementation teams to ensure solutions meet government standards and regulations.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on healthcare policy changes, funding initiatives, and digital health trends affecting the public sector.
- Contract Management: Lead negotiations for multi-year contracts, framework agreements, and renewals.
