Build and lead a high‑performing analytics team (estimated 1–2 direct reports) and serve as the technical and strategic lead for Health Operations analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive analytics framework for Health Operations including consistent operational data definitions along with KPI and metrics hierarchies.
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards and reporting systems that provide clear visibility into operational performance drivers, cost trends, and capacity utilization across Health Operations.
- Design diagnostic tools that enable Health Operations to quickly identify root causes of performance variances and cost overruns.
- Design predictive models that forecast operational demands, identify capacity constraints, vendor mix, and project cost trends, identify inefficiencies, waste, and optimization opportunities through data analysis and recommend process improvements based on performance trends.
- Partner with centralized analytics teams to ensure the availability and accuracy of operations data as well as align with divisional standards on tools and platforms, data strategy and governance, privacy and security controls, preferred vendors, or other best practices.
- Partner with Health Operations leaders to understand decision‑making needs, translate business questions into analytical approaches, and build team's capabilities to leverage data effectively.
- Drive adoption and monitor usage of operations BI tools and techniques to evaluate effectiveness and enhance team decision‑making speed and accuracy.
- Establish measurement frameworks to track the impact of operational initiatives ensuring accountability for benefits delivery.
- Create standardized reporting cadences for operational reviews.
- Advocate for data‑driven decision‑making across all operational processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Expert user of business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools with the ability to design effective dashboards and reports that drive decision‑making.
- Deep expertise in data visualization, predictive analytics, and performance management.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in analytics or business intelligence including 3–5 years of experience in operations or customer service analytics.
- Ability to ensure consistency and scalability of analytics solutions across systems.
- Strategic thinker who can translate complex analytical concepts into clear business insights and actionable recommendations for non‑technical audiences.
- Strong storytelling and executive communication skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and partner with senior leaders.
- Strong program management capabilities including the ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple workstreams, and deliver results.
- Advanced degree in Analytics, Data Science, or related quantitative field.
- Extensive and progressive experience in analytics or business intelligence including demonstrable experience in operations or customer service analytics.
- Demonstrated success leading analytics initiatives that drove measurable operational improvements and cost savings.
- Experience building and managing small analytics teams, including recruiting, developing, and retaining analytical talent.
