About The Role
At Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting (TAA), we're looking for a Consultant to join our Professional Services team, supporting customers across the UK tax landscape. This role is ideal for a tax professional with consulting experience who enjoys solving complex challenges, working directly with customers and helping organizations maximize the value of their tax technology solutions.
As a Consultant, you will contribute to the successful delivery of implementation, advisory, and optimization projects for our tax and accounting solutions. Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you'll help drive successful outcomes while building deep expertise in UK tax processes and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise in UK tax processes and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct detailed analysis of customer requirements, business processes, and tax workflows.
- Support the implementation and configuration of Wolters Kluwer tax solutions.
- Deliver customer workshops, discovery sessions, and solution demonstrations.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, presentations, and process models.
- Research industry trends, regulatory changes, and customer‐specific tax challenges.
- Assist in solution design, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
- Coordinate project tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Support.
- Support user training, knowledge transfer, and customer adoption initiatives.
- Participate in quality assurance reviews and continuous improvement activities.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in UK tax, tax advisory, tax technology, or professional services consulting.
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience engaging with customers and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with software implementation or SaaS solutions is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
- ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification (completed or in progress).
- Experience within tax technology, professional services, consulting, or accounting environments.
- Familiarity with software implementation methodologies and project delivery practices.
- Knowledge of digital tax transformation initiatives and tax compliance technologies.
