We are looking for a Tax and Accounting Technical Support Agent to join our team. This role provides first‑level customer support for customers (mainly accounting practices) using our CCH Personal Tax and CCH Corporation tax software. The successful candidate will resolve product issues by phone, Support Portal or web chat, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent software support with efficient response times and effective resolution.
  • Resolve moderately complex product‑related queries reported by customers via telephone, customer community and remote access.
  • Analyze product questions or reproduce product issues and develop appropriate solutions related to supported applications/functionality using working knowledge.
  • Liaise with internal teams where necessary to find a resolution.
  • Understand key business drivers and build knowledge of products, company, processes and customers.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Tax and Accounting or recent certification in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
  • Good problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to learn new software products quickly.
  • Professional and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to deal with customer representatives at all levels.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Good work ethic and team ethic.
  • Tax and Accounting industry experience desirable.
