About The Marketing Analytics Team

In the Marketing Analytics team, we are focused on improving the effectiveness of our marketing spend and boosting Wolt’s growth. We work across a broad set of marketing questions, helping teams understand what is working, where to invest, and how to improve marketing performance across Wolt. We partner with Marketing, Product, and Strategy & Operations teams closely to guide measurement and tactical decision-making using advanced analytics. Considering the scale of Wolt’s marketing function, there are many exciting problems to be solved and plenty of opportunities to make a business impact! You’ll be part of this team working with top Data Science and Analytics Engineering professionals. As we grow the next level of maturity in Marketing Analytics, you’ll help shape the roadmap, develop the team, and build the operating rhythm that turns analysis into better business decisions.

What you’ll be doing

As an Analytics Manager at Wolt, you are essential in revolutionizing our marketing strategies. You’ll define the analytics roadmap for the team, prioritize the most important business questions, and ensure the work leads to clear decisions and follow-through. Acting as a critical partner to senior business and product leaders, this role will drive the Marketing domain forward, shaping the future of our initiatives. Key responsibilities include defining and monitoring key performance indicators to gauge the effectiveness of innovative marketing initiatives. The role offers an exciting opportunity to brainstorm 0-to-1 growth investment opportunities and establish the foundation for our marketing investment framework. You’ll lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Scientists, helping them stay close to the business and deliver work that improves marketing decisions and outcomes. Success in this role requires exceptional leadership and project management skills, along with strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams will be crucial in fostering a culture of shared success and innovation. This position offers a thrilling opportunity to shape the future of growth at Wolt!

Our humble expectations

  • 6+ years of experience in a Data Analytics or Data Science position, with 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience in leading large teams (5-10 direct reports).
  • Prior experience in hiring and mentoring skilled members for your data science teams.
  • Expertise with SQL and statistical analysis using Python, R, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of experimentation, attribution, media mix modeling, and marketing measurement concepts, with a pragmatic approach to applying them to business decisions.
  • Clear communication and strong business partnership skills, with a track record of turning analytical work into decisions, actions, and measurable impact.
