This is a full time role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 07.30am - 5.00pm, plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis 08.00am - 12.00pm paid as overtime.
Key responsibilities
- Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
- Building relationships with customers with the aim of driving repeat business, enhancing customer experience, and maximising lifetime value
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email providing quotes promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
- General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders which will involve manual handling of heavy items.
- What we'd like you to have
- Plumbing and heating industry or merchant experience is beneficial but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Retail sales and customer service experience.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- A strong work ethic and an eagerness to get stuck into all areas of the branch.
