As a Sales Assistant based in Whitby, you will be responsible for:
- Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email providing quotes promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
- General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems, putting it away, and picking & packing customer orders which will involve manual handling of heavy items like boilers, radiators, toilets, sinks, etc.
This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00 am to 5:00 pm and 1 in 2 Saturdays, working 8:00 am - 12:00 pm, paid as overtime.

- UK driving license will be preferential.
- Previous face-to-face sales and customer service experience.
- To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
