As a Warehouse Team Leader based in Melmerby, you will be responsible for:
- Directly line managing 15-20 Operations Assistants, ensuring work has been delegated appropriately
- Conducting annual reviews, probation meetings, recruitment and absence management
- Ensuring the team have hit KPIs and verifying all picking, packing and loading have been completed correctly
- Getting stuck into warehouse duties and supporting the team
This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between 2.00pm - 10.00pm.
Here’s what we’d like you to have:
- Previous warehouse experience with a history of completing warehouse duties effectively
- People and talent management skills
- Previous warehouse team leader experience is desirable
- A proactive approach and ability to support the team
- Comfortable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
