  • As a Delivery Driver 3.5t based in Sittingbourne youll be responsible for:
  • Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies mainly within a 80 mile radius of the branch.
  • The number of deliveries will vary day to day from 10 - 30 mainly to new build construction sites but also residential customers and other businesses.
  • Carrying out vehicle checks.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators toilets and sinks.
  • Assisting in the warehouse if back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:00am - 4:00pm (with flexibility). No weekend work required.

And heres what wed like you to have

  • Full clean UK Manual Driving Licence.
  • Previous multidrop driving is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with PDA devices.
  • Team player and happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
