As an Operations Assistant based in Consett you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out general warehouse tasks – this will involve manual handling of heavy stock such as radiators, boilers, sinks, toilets.
- Booking incoming stock onto the system and putting it away in the designated location.
- Picking and packing customer orders.
- Maintaining high standards of H&S within the warehouse.
- Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.
- Handling customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously.
This is a permanent full‑time position working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 07:00am – 04:00pm.
Qualifications
- Plumbing and heating industry or merchant experience is beneficial.
- Previous warehouse experience.
