Responsibilities
- Allocate 40‑50% of your time to supporting the trade counter, serving walk‑in customers and delivering a high level of customer service.
- Handle inbound phone calls and respond promptly to customer enquiries relating to deliveries, orders, quotations, pricing and product availability.
- Manage personal and shared branch/contract inboxes, ensuring all enquiries are answered in a timely manner and progressing requests through to quotation where applicable.
- Prepare and issue accurate and competitive quotations in line with customer requirements and company guidelines.
- Take responsibility for designated customer contracts, acting as the primary point of contact for all related enquiries, orders and quotations to maintain consistency and service excellence.
- Run back‑office reports and complete administrative tasks to support branch operations, contract performance and internal processes.
Qualifications
- Prior plumbing or heating industry experience is advantageous.
- Previous face‑to‑face customer service or merchant sales experience is advantageous.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and to take on a diverse role.
- Proactive, eager to learn, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary: £27,500 + bonus.
